Welcome to College Karo ("App", "Platform", "We", "Our", or "Us"). By downloading, installing, or using this application, you ("User", "Student", "Parent", or "You") agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our application.
1. Nature of Services
College Karo is a purely informational, guidance, and counseling platform designed to assist students in exploring and selecting suitable higher education institutions across India.
We do not provide direct admissions, nor do we guarantee seats or employment outcomes. Our role is strictly limited to career guidance and institutional facilitation.
2. User Eligibility & Account Accuracy
Users must provide true, accurate, and current information (such as name, mobile number, email, and course preferences) while using the platform.
Providing false details or impersonating someone else may result in immediate termination of your access to the services.
3. No Financial Involvement
College Karo does not charge any fee from students or parents for using the app or receiving counseling.
The platform does not contain any payment gateway. All tuition fees, admission fees, or token amounts must be paid by the student directly to the official bank accounts of the respective college or university.
College Karo shall not be responsible for any financial loss or wrong transactions made by the user.
4. No Document Handling
College Karo does not collect, upload, or store your official academic marksheets, certificates, or identity proofs (like Aadhaar card).
Users are responsible for sending their documents directly to the chosen college or university through official institutional channels.
5. Third-Party Links & College Information
While we strive to provide updated details regarding courses, fees, infrastructure, and placements, college data can change. Users must independently verify the college’s affiliation and approvals (UGC, AICTE, etc.) before taking admission.
College Karo is not responsible for any misinformation provided by the institutions or third-party entities.
6. Revenue Disclosure
Users acknowledge that College Karo operates on an institutional support model, where we receive operational incentives and support from our partner educational institutions for facilitating student guidance.
7. Limitation of Liability
College Karo, its proprietor, or team shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential disputes, financial disagreements, or dissatisfaction arising between the student and the educational institution post-admission.
8. Governing Law
Any disputes, legal matters, or claims arising out of the use of College Karo shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Sherghati, Gaya - 824211, Bihar, India.
9. Changes to Terms
College Karo reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Welcome to College Karo. Our platform is strictly a guidance and informational portal designed to help students choose the right college or university for their higher education. Please read the Refund and Cancellation Policy carefully:
No Financial Transactions: The College Karo mobile application does not collect, handle, or process any tuition fees, admission fees, or seat booking amounts from students.
Direct Payments to Institutions: All financial transactions, token amounts, or semester fees must be paid by the student directly to the official bank accounts or authorized payment channels of the respective college or university.
Applicability of College Rules: Since no payments are made to College Karo, any request for a refund, admission cancellation, or fee adjustment will be governed strictly by the rules, regulations, and schedules of the respective college or university where the student has applied.
No Liability: College Karo is not responsible or liable for any financial disputes, delays in refunds, or cancellation issues between the student and the educational institution. Students must contact the college management directly for any fee-related matters.
Document and Data Submission Policy
At College Karo, we respect student privacy and ensure a secure informational environment. Please note the following regarding document handling on our platform:
No Document Uploads: The College Karo application does not have any feature or option to upload, store, or submit academic documents, marksheets, certificates, or personal identification proofs (like Aadhaar card, PAN card, etc.).
Direct Submission to Colleges: Students are required to send their academic and personal documents directly to the respective college or university via their official portals, emails, or physical submission channels as advised during the guidance process.
Data Security: Since College Karo does not collect or store your official academic documents on its servers, our platform is not responsible for any data leakage, loss, or misuse of documents that occurs outside our platform or on the institution's network.
Basic Information Only: We only collect basic contact information (such as name, mobile number, current city, and course preference) to provide proper counselling and guidance services.
Legal Disclaimer
The information provided by the College Karo application is for general guidance, educational assistance, and informational purposes only.
Guidance Only: College Karo acts solely as a facilitator to help students explore and choose suitable educational institutions across India based on their preferences and eligibility. We do not provide employment or admission guarantees.
Final Admission Authority: The final decision regarding admission, seat allocation, eligibility criteria, and fee structures rests solely with the respective college, university, or the concerned regulatory university board.
Independent Verification: While College Karo makes every effort to provide accurate and updated information regarding college infrastructure, courses, and placement data, students and parents are strongly advised to independently verify the college’s affiliation, approval (UGC, AICTE, etc.), and recognition before making a final choice.
No Liability for Disputes: College Karo earns its revenue through institutional support and incentives from the partner colleges. We are not a party to any agreement or dispute that may arise between the student and the college after admission. College Karo shall not be held liable for any loss, dispute, or dissatisfaction arising from the services of the chosen educational institution.
